Hey guys,

For those getting interviewed at the UCSF, where is the best place to stay? any hotel nearby.

thanks!

Also, What is the parking situation around the UCSF dental school? Your cooperation is highly appreciated.

There are street parkings near UCSF allowing your to park for 2 hrs free. It will take some time to find parking (about 15 min or so..) or you can pay to go to UCSF garage, whole day about $20 I think.

It is generally not recommended to take your car to school. Most students take the muni which is now offered at a price of $35 monthly to UCSF Students. Apartments around the school is the choice of students to avoid commuting to school.

After 6pm, the library validates parking at a rate of $1 along with the gym.

There arent any major hotels in the area that would be of recommendation. My suggestion would be to lookup hotels using expedia and then seeing if the N-Judah is around that hotel. If that is the case, the N-Judah will take you directly to UCSF.

stay near by the school... traffic into the city... in the mornings are hell... to give you an idea... when I use to live in the bay area... it took me 2 hrs just to get to the city from oakland... thats only across the bay bridge... then you have to tackle the morning traffic to get to the area where UCSF is... so try and keep it walking distance... it doesn't look good if you're late to your interview....no matter what the excuse 😀

oh yeah, the traffic.. i'd been searching for places around the campus, and found a place called Carl. i think it's 5-10 minutes away (3 blocks) by walk.. 😎
