i was just wondering how much is the average rent for a place near the school?

my friend who went to law school paid $650 for a room in an old house- she had 2 other roomates. the nice thing was the location- right across from golden gate park.

i live in the city with my parents. most of the people at ucsf pay about 700-900 for their own room in a 2 bedroom near campus. it can go as low as 600-650 if you live further away.
