hey guys... here's some info that i thought may be of use to those who are interested in ucsf or deciding between ucsf and another school: the other day us D1s got our manequin heads... and they are pretty much like the ones at other schools where they have sim labs. they have the rubber cheeks and stuff 🙂 they are brand new and we are the first class to use them (we will be sharing with the 2nd years though, but they didnt have them last year when they were first years). anyway, there is also talk that the preclinical lab (where we spend our first and second year) is being remodeled this summer, and next year there will be computer monitors for all the students!!! i am not 100% sure of this, but i've heard it from a couple reliable sources. anyway, just thought you'd be interested.... since most schools that have this stuff are private or the tuition is very expensive... and ucsf is a public school!
