hey future detists ~

so, who has received secondary app. request from UCSF?

i'm currently working on mine right now... and i'm kinda stuck on this question:

"Explain and document any hardships (if any) you have had to overcome to achieve your current status."

see, i've never had any THAT terrible hardship that i had to overcome to achieve my current status. i once had a pretty big car accident that adversely affected my class performance.

what do you think i should do? should i just say i have nothing to say for this question?

Put down whatever you feel is relavent. You don't have to compare yourself to that applicant who has lived through 3 wars, orphaned, abused, collected coal to pay their boat fare from some foreign country, etc. If that car accident screwed up your grades, make sure they know. Just don't put something ridiculous down like not getting a brand new car on your 16th birthday.
