UCSF textbooks

Hello UCSF people. I was just wondering how much I should expect to spend on textbooks. Also, could anyone tell me which book is used for chem111? I do own a thermodynamics book, but wasn't sure if its what UCSF uses.

you won't need to spend much on textbks as there will be course syllabi available and old textbks from 2nd yr people.
the pchem book we used this year is physical chem for chemical and biological sciences by Raymond Chang.

Yes, do not buy anything early!! You will be able to get some of the texts from 2nd years.

Ok thanks! You guys helped me save money. I have this impulse to buy stuff early. Guess its not worth it at UCSF..
