Checked aadsas for the first time in a while and found out that my ucsf status changed from invited for interview to review/under review.... LOL, I actually went to the interview already...

Hey hup, any news about maryland's addmission process? do they interview many after dec 1st? I submitted may 25 and still haven't heard anything

It's weird because once when you turn in ur app., it will say "review/under review." When you get an interview, it changes to "invited for an interview." My status reverted BACK to review/under review, which I don't think happens too often or at least not with the other schools that I've interviewed at.

Yeah this happens for some schools, others just leave it. I think it's probably just aadsas having a hard time keeping up with the status of all the applicants.

It's still early for MD. I interviewed in late January during the cycle I applied. Hang in there!

Was the offer made a week after your interview or an extensive period of time ?

UCSF adcom makes the final decision right after your interview.
Until last year, the school rejected people just a few days after their interviews.
Thus, if they are still rejecting people with interview before december 1st, you guys, with the status change, are either accepted, waitlisted or your file will be re-reviewed in the future if they don't get to fill up the class.

so status change back to review means you didnt get accept for sure? Because they cant inform you of acceptance before december 1st..o man.

No. I meant that the status change could mean a good thing until last year, but not so sure of it this year.

damn this is complicated. i would love to see OFFER MADE.

my status changed back to under review. don't read too much into it - obviously they are going to review the students once more after the interview or there would be no point in an interview. about the "offer made" comment, i heard people found out they were accepted before dec. 1st in previous years because of internet status updates. so, schools are more conscious of it this year and wouldn't put something such as "offer made" on aadsas until dec. 1st. don't worry you are not alone in the switch back to "under review"
