Hi everyone. After months of uncertainties it finally comes down to this:

1) University of Delaware (2.5 yrs)
Base tuition ~90k
Graduate assistantship ~20K/yr (got it for the 1st year at least)
Strength: inter-departmental collaboration, small class size, personal & caring atmosphere, research, part time clinical components that take place w/in the department building

2) Arcadia University (2.5 yrs)
Base tuition ~96k
Scholarship ~27K total (renewable each semester)
Strength: strong in neuro, well-published faculty, modular learning style (topics reinforced each semester), possible paid internship during the final year (didn't have an interview so all the info are from reputation & my own research)

I have paid the deposit for both programs. What I care most about now are the quality of the program, cost, & employment opportunity post-graduation. Given these options what would you do? Any advice or information about these programs would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch in advance! 🙂

Both are quality programs and will prepare you well didactically. Neither one will offer an advantage over the other in regards to post-graduate employment, I don't think.

I do think that Dr. McClure might take some umbrage at your mention of only Arcadia's strength in neuro. From what I hear he is an excellent instructor and I know he is well published in orthopaedic journals with an area of emphasis of the shoulder.

Good luck with your decision.

Thank you for your input jesspt! As you can tell I have limited knowledge of both programs so your experienced opinions means a lot. Right now the possibility of 2 year assistantship offered by UDel appeals to me very much but I would hate to miss the chance of being taught by the excellent faculty in either programs. It'll be a tough decision to make but I'm grateful to have such promising offers.
