UDM summers

Hi, I was looking at the curriculum on the UDM website and saw that D2, D3, D4 had a summer quarter. Does this mean that we do not get the summer of the first year i.e June-August 2015 completely off like alot of other schools? There seems to be more "school" with UDM then other programs, can anyone confirm this.

I think a lot of schools do not have summers off. I know that Michigan is the same way.

Hmm that is intense. I wonder if the work load is more evenly spread for schools that do not get their first summer off.

If you look at the curriculum, D2 year starts with a summer semester.

The academic year begins in late August and ends in late July, with a vacation period in August.

Pretty sure most schools have summers.
The only free summer would be the summer before D1.

You have got the month of August off after you D1. That's it

One month is definitely enough time to do everything you need to do...I would imagine school to be more entertaining than a care-free summer at this point..🙂
