Does anyone know if UF's early decision deadline for the 2005 school year has passed yet? I went to UF's COP website and can't find anything pertaining to early decision.
As far as I know, UF doesn't participate in early decision. I was also looking for it last year but my counselor told me that they no longer do early decision. I'd say if you're ready to apply now, then do so. The earlier the better. They said that last year we had 1800 applicants. Good luck.
According to my GatoRx magazine, there were over 2,400 applicants received through PharmCAS, but only 1,854 were referred to the college for review and consideration. 55% were from Florida applicants which were given priority. Non-resident applications with superlative academic and personal credentials were also reviewed.
They told us at orientation that only 6 students accepted were from out of state. This was quite surprising to me. I guess if you're out of state you better be an exceptional applicant.
Thanks for the info! I see that the PharmCAS early decision deadline has passed anyways. I won't have all of my pre-reqs finished until the summer before pharmacy school begins. Do you guys think they will go ahead and process my application anyways?

Yes, they'll give you a conditional acceptance, in which you have until the first week of class to finish up any classes and get all your shots. They send everyone a conditional acceptance letter when they first accept you. Mostly that's because there's a lot more paperwork to do. Good luck!
