Does anyone know UF's timeline. With their deadline of 2/15, how soon do they begin accepting? I'm curious and cannot seem to find information anywhere.

I believe most people have already found out. I got my acceptance letter last week, and so did most other people at UF. They give you two weeks to accept your admission, and I believe the acceptance letters were sent to their permanent addresses for most people I know. Hope that helps!
 
Hi the 2/15 deadline is for conditional acceptance students. The student that has already been accepted must be a pre-OT student, their deadline was a month ago. Congrats by the way on that🙂

According to the program director conditional acceptance students should hear 4-6 weeks after the deadline, so the middle to end of march.

Congrats on your acceptance to UF. I saw that you also got into USC. Have you decided where you are going yet?

Also if you don't mind sharing your stats, just wondering if I have a shot at UF, I am a conditional student applicant.

Oh sorry I forgot UF has different deadlines. But thanks!

My stats:
GPA: 3.81
I don't remember my pre-req GPA but I believe its about 3.6
GRE: high 1100s
observation hrs: about 48 when I applied, but for UF you only record 30 anyway

I applied also and have not heard yet. Does anyone know if everyone who gets in has to interview?
 
Uf mot does not conduct interviews. I believe we should here towards the end of this month. Did you apply anywhere else?
 
From what I understand it will be the week after spring break when they send out letters. It's going to be a nail biter though, as there was a huge influx of applicants in January. :xf:
 
Yeah it looks like a lot of us applied as conditional students.

What are everyones stats?

Mine are:
Undergrad GPA 3.4
Prereq GPA 4.0
Graduate GPA (masters in wildlife biology) 3.97
GRE 1170
I am hoping my age and my life experiences with a special needs son gives me an edge🙂

Is that the college spring break, which is this week? So we may be hearing next week? I am living on kid time, where there spring break is not until the last week in March-first week in April. Did you get this information recently?

Yes, that's what they told me back in January. So we could possibly hear back next week. I've got a feeling it's going to be the very end of March though because they told me that before they got the week-before-deadline-influx of applications.
 
I also applied to FGCU. I interviewed and just received an accpetance letter. Their program starts earlier, so I am hoping to hear from UF soon! Good luck to you!
 
Congrats on the acceptance. When I checked in with the program director a week after the 2/15 deadline, she mentioned it will likely be another month before letters are sent out, so probably not until the end of the month.
 
Is it true that there are about 70 applicants for the 12-15 conditional spots?
 
Well they had 70 applicants last year, so I imagine there will be more this year.

Dr. Foss said she is hoping to have 20 conditional spots this year.:xf:
 
Hey guys! I'm new to this network and I just a couple of questions. So, I've applied to UF as a conditional student as well. My question is, do you guys know when i have to complete all my pre-requisites? Do I have to be done with my bachelor's degree by the end of summer A, or do I have all summer (Summer C) to get my degree and graduate? I only have one more pre-requisite to take: SPC2608: Public Speaking and it's offered summer B, which is mid June to August. Thanks so much!
 
Anyone hear from UF MOT yet as a conditional acceptance? I believe they are sending out letters this week. I have my fingers crossed. :xf:
 
Yeah that application status link does not work for me, because technically I am a readmission, as I already have a graduate degree from UF. It is a slightly different process for graduate school readmission than admission the first time.

Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum. Just like everyone else, I am anxiously awaiting for a letter from UF. I was wondering were to look on the link above. I was able to log into the page with my info but have no clue where I would see any info on acceptance. Where do I go?

I got accepted🙂 The letter just came in the mail, it is a small envelope, so don't be alarmed if you don't get a big package.

Congrats! I am still waiting :/ nervous..but i am so hopeful 🙂 *Applied for conditional admission.
