UF Supplemental Question/Verification

Under the "materials received" tab, the only item that shows "not received" is for the professional school application. However, the only way to access the supplemental application itself is to apply to the professional school and obtain a UF-ID number. Plus, I already paid the $30 to the professional school through the same form. Does anyone else have this problem? If the status does not change by the end of this week I'll have to call and ask them directly I guess. Thanks.

My status for the professional school application being received still says not received also and I filled out the application 2 weeks ago and I have the receipt that I paid. So I wouldn't worry - things just take time. As long as you have proof you paid and saved the email that was automatically sent out thanking you for applying to professional school, you should be OK. My VMCAS status on the UF website is listed as not received, and when I went on the VMCAS website last night, it said they hadn't mailed out my application and when I logged on to VMCAS again today, it said they mailed out my VMCAS application today. UF can be a little slow in updating their website. I nearly had a coronary last year because I mailed my supplemental application the week it was due and I mailed it certified mail, and according to my return receipt, UF received it a couple days before the deadline, but the website wasn't updated to show that. So I called on the deadline day (my husband was all prepared to drive up to hand delivery a second copy of my supplemental) and I was told that it was in their hands and all was OK. And in the end, I ended up with an interview, but not accepted.

It's the same as last year's - you need to login to your account and download the paper to write your supplemental essay and to fill out the supplemental application (the one where you include a photo of yourself and state whether or not you'll have the animal science/nutrition courses completed)
