UF vs Nova

I was accepted to both UF and Nova but I really really liked Nova and Davie/Ft. Lauderdale.

I'm still debating on which campus to choose. I just have a few questions.

Does anyone know how much I would actually save by attending UF.

Is UF more geared towards retail?... because it very much seemed that way when I went to the interview...Whereas Nova seemed more focus on research and clinical.

If anyone else was accepted to both campuses could you please tell me why you chose one program over the other.

I was accepted to both NSU and UF-Gainesville and I am pretty sure I am going to NSU. Both are undeniably great schools, but I love south Florida and have all my connections here, fiance, family, friends, job. In the end it is only about $8k extra in tuition a year. I also see myself staying in south Florida at the end of pharmacy school, so NSU can help me gain those connections to hospitals in the area since my rotation sites will be in the tri-county area. If I were single, younger (I am 24), and hadn't already done the moving away for college thing, I probably would go to UF for the experience. Good luck on whichever school you decide to go to.

hi...i'm actually attending UF...its a great school tuition only about 12 K compare to otha school...i think it myte be the cheapest school out there cuz its public and not private....anyways i love my small class...we got about 50 students...its great bc we all know each other and help each other out with notes and study tools, etc...all our preceptors are pharmacists not just regular professor they either are working at the hospital which is across from us or retail so u can ask them any questions u want...i think uf gear more toward clinical....its all about how we can interact with pts and make them feel comfortable to talk to us....i duno i love it.....if u got any otha questions just ask.....i'll be student govt next yr so hope u consider uf!!!
