how long after you submitted the secondary did you guys hear back from UF? I submitted my secondary on 9/29 & they received it on 10/02. I thought UF quickly replies after you submit secondary, just like NOVA. Thanks!

Hey. You're only supposed to submit the secondary/supplemental at their request. Also, when they do request that you do so, it usually is accompanied by an interview invite via Email. Also, it's funny that you say Nova replied quickly to you, as I have been waiting for a loooong time to hear back from them. I submitted the Nova secondary at the end of July, and have yet to hear from them. I've contacted them several times, and they actually made me resend my DAT scores even though I had the ADA officially mail them AND I also personally scanned & emailed them (unofficial score report given to me @ test center) the day I took the DAT. Anyways, about UF, like I said, a secondary/supplemental request is usually accompanied by an interview invite. Let's hope this is the case. Good luck.

yea I received the secondary invitation on 9/25 but it did not accompany an interview invite, may be because some of my letters were not mailed out by AADSAS until 9/29. This is what it said within the email.

Your completed University of Florida Supplemental Application is required prior to decision-making regarding an interview. Please return your completed materials to the Office of Dental Admissions at PO Box 100445 Gainesville, FL 32610-0445.

That's weird I received NOVA supplemental invitation on 9/2 & I submitted on the same day online ( I know I am that desperate!). I received confirmation receipt email for the application on 9/3. I received interview invitation through mail on 9/8 & the letter head is dated 9/4. I thought that was very quick!

It took UF about 2 weeks for them to give me an interview after I submitted the supplemental information. But during my interview I asked them if a supplement means that you definitely will be invited for an interview and they said no its just another hoop you have to jump. So just be patient, I know the waiting game sucks.

yea i know supplemental doesn't necessarily mean an interview invite. Last year I received UF supplemental but then I was rejected w/o an interview. I think that was just to collect the money 🙄

i called on the 26th and asked if i was under review, and i am...but aadsas says missing information??
they have my aadsas and letters

They don't want an official sent to them directly or anything do they??

i'm going to call tomorrow and see what is up

I didn't send anything directly to UF except the supplemental.

AADSAS was mailed out on 8/25 & I received UF Supplemental on 9/25
