UGA/missing info

ERG. So, just got off the phone with UGA. After misplacing my GRE scores back in January (they appeared while I was on the phone with them). They now have "not received" my fall transcript (was requested 12/21/05). I called and they have no idea where they went. Apparently they are having a problem with the campus mail. BUT, my transcript must be there by Feb 17th or they will no longer consider my application. The woman was also rude on the phone, insisting that it was MY problem. Well, it is my problem, but if they are having problems with the mail AND they have an inaccurate address on the website (you MUST include the last 4 digits of the zip code - but they are no where to be found on the website) you would think they might be a little more lenient or at least give me more time to resend the needed information.

Anyone else having similar problems?

I have not (yet) had a problem with this. I will however either email or give Miss McClure a call tomorrow to make sure I do not have a problem.

Every contact I have had with her she has been SUPER nice. Just remember it is not her decision as to when your transcripts are due, its the folks she works for. Plus, if this has been a problem she has to deal with more than one frustrated person, and I promise you, even if you were nice about it there were probably people who were not so nice about it.

Thanks for the heads up and this is quite frustrating! If I have to, I will hand deliver my transcripts! (just kidding since that is probably not allowed)
