Ugh, class question. Help me :-(

So, I took Organic last semester but had a lot of health problems and received a C-. Now, I think I should re-take this, and I said this to my dean because my school does not allow retakes, and he said that he never heard medical schools needing a C or above in the prerequisites.

I've read that countless of times here at SDN, but I'm wondering... is there an official website that says that?! Just so I can show the dean and get permission to take the class?

Go to any of the numerous medical school websites and pull up the information. Did he say "If you prove me wrong, you can retake the class?" If he doesn't let you retake it, retake it at another school. It may not reflect on your college gpa but it'll be factored in when you apply to med school. Why did you post this in Allo? I am not here to be your advisor.

I don't know the answer to your question, but if you can't find the information online then you can always call a couple medical schools. The school's admissions department should be able to answer your question immediately.

Depends on the school. Ccall a few admissions offices and ask them directly, they should be able to direct you to proof for your dean as well. Good luck!

Go to any medical school website and go to their Admission Requirements page; here it will let you know they are looking for a C grade or better.

I hope you are doing better in regards of your medical issue.
