well I moved to NY last year and am just now a new york resident, already completed almost 60 credit hours in my old state, planned a trip overseas for this fall semester but had a last minute change of heart because i want to graduate as soon as possible. great right? No
the application deadline for fall was last FEBUARY! looks like I'll be graduating a semetser later than anticipated(that's IF i ever graduate)!

Does anyone have similar circumstances where there were breaks during your undergraduate? How do optometry schools view this? Especially for reasons like mine(moved to another state just for a scenary change)?
