so finally NOW i realize i might have messed up with sending out my DAT scores - each school's 'supplemental information' button on aadsas isn't exactly uniform with all the others and some mention what to do with DAT scores, some don't. so i think i'd reasoned that if there was no mention of them, that they wanted them when they would contact you - although some schools say do it when you submit and others say to wait til you're contacted.

i haven't heard from several schools by now and my app was mailed out 7/31 and my scores became available 8/12. should i be sending out additional score requests from schools that didn't say anything about what to do with scores??

Which schools have you not sent them to?
I think that supp page is legit and we can trust it. But calling schools is probably the safe route.

I followed the guide of supplemental page. But since i am paranoid, i also called each school every week to see if my application was completed. I think calling is the most efficient way!

i sent my dat scores to all the schools i applied to, and my apps are complete at every school.

OP... Just request for ALL the schools you applied to! When they need it.. they'll download it.

thanks guys. i know what you mean about the supp app info, but most schools said whether to send your dat scores either at the same time you submitted or to wait until they contact you for them, but for example, stony, umdnj, and temple all say nothing regarding dat scores. so i guess i assumed to just wait until they contacted me for them. and none of them had contacted me asking for them even though i'd marked that i was taking my test on 7/26!

i got in touch with temple and nj - temple won't take a faxed copy, but nj will. haven't been able to reach anyone at stony yet. thanks again!

the schools you applied to usually want an official copy of your DAT scores. The score you entered in you AADSAS needs to be verified from the official scores. Some schools will accept a faxes copy of your scores (the one you received right after you took the DAT) until the official scores are received. Good luck!

If you applied to NYU, last time I spoke with them, NYU takes faxed copies of your unofficial score report until you send them your official copy!

I know UCLA does not take faxed copies....
