UHCO interview

Hi everyone,

Yes, it's true that the schools have our OAT scores! Hope everyone did as well as they hoped....

For those that have had interviews at UHCO, can you give me some pointers? I heard that there was a writing component. What's that about? Also, for those that are current optometry students, what should I be looking for while touring the schools? Any advise about the interview process or UHCO would be greatly appreciated!

There is a writing compenent to UHCO interview. It's basically to prove you can write coherent in english and your communication skills.

As far as the interview you'll go through a few steps:

You'll take a tour of UHCO
you'll take your writing sample
you'll have your interview
you'll also have a free block to talk to current students/ other interviewees about life/school/etc

it's very laid back.. nothing to stress about..

I was so excited about the news of the interview that I forgot to ask where it is. Is UHCO on the same campus as UH?
