I recall someone posting something about gigs at UHS (Universal Health Services) but I could not find it with a search.

I see lots of job postings for them, but without knowing something more, I am hesitant to contact them.

Does anyone work for this bunch, or have any comments about it, as a place to work? If you don't want to post it on the forum, a private message would be appreciated.

Thanks.

The UHS hospital in my city started a 503c corporation separate from the hospital because they didn't like contracting with local private psychiatrists who balked at extra paperwork, unrealistically high censuses, and relatively poor compensation, and having a social worker boss who yelled at them (right in the middle of my interview). Psychiatrists have to personally examine every patient who is restrained or secluded, though not necessary by law here, and they do this every night. They tried to hire me out of fellowship, but I smelled a rat and declined. They managed to hire one poor sap who they burned out within a year, who then left for the private group and told them where to stick the non-compete clause, and is now a contractor for the same hospital with the rest of the private group.
I therefore have a dim view of UHS. However, they are huge and UHS here may be different than elsewhere.
