I bought the 2010 ADEA book and it says that the oldest DAT considered is 1/01/2009...

Is that a typo or do they expect those who don't get in this year to take the DAT again to apply next year??

Are you sure you dont have the 2009 one? Maybe they just copied the 2009 one and forgot to change the date.

I'm asafi2 in case there's any confusion...I made that account yesterday forgetting I already have one...

Anyway, nope its def the 2010 version..I got it the other day annd it can't be from the 2009 version because wouldn't the 2009 version say that the oldest DAT considered be from January 2008???

I know that some schools require your scores to be <2 years old. I had this question a couple years ago and upon calling some schools, was told that as long as they receive my completed application within two years of the test date, I would be ok. Maybe they list 1/1/09 since someone applying late this cycle (say in december 2010) would have needed to take the DAT in January of 09 in order for their scores to be valid?

If you are unsure, just call the schools. They'll tell you what you need to know.

Ya I figured I should just call the school, but thanks for you responses!
