UIC offers post December?

I called up UIC and while talking to the admissions person she told me that they will be giving more invites after January 3rd due to the openings after people reject their offers. Has any one heard from UIC in January regarding acceptances?

I interviewed at the end of November and C. Feller told our group we'd hear back in January. So far I haven't heard anything and I'm guessing no one else has either from looking at UIC's page on predents.com. Not that predents is a totally reliable indicator, but I'm pretty sure if people were getting acceptances post-December, it would be clear on there. The waiting is driving me nuts! Do you mind me asking when you interviewed and when you called the office?

Hey,
I interviewed October 25th.. I spoke to Carolyn on Dec 17. She said they will be giving out more acceptances after January 3. So I have been waiting since then but I havent received a reply. Do you know places to check to see if people heard back? Pre-dents doesnt seem updated.

Just got accepted. Got a call from Carolyn today. Interviewed October 25th.

Wow congrats!! I am hoping to get a similar call from UIC!!!!!! What did they say to you??

They just said congratulations and that I'll be getting a letter in the mail.

DAT: 20 AA, 22 PAT
Undergrad Sci GPA: 3.35
Undergrad Tot GPA: 3.45
MS GPA: 3.85

Dang, congrats recneps! Lol the waiting is killing me even more now that I know you and probably other people have gotten calls! What time of day did you receive the call if you don't mind me asking?

Hoping and praying that sfkhan and me hear back with good news too by the end of the week or next week!

I would go over general questions from the SDN's interview feedback for UIC and be familiar with those answers. You'll interview with 2 faculty members. The 2 that I met with were pretty nice, so the interview wasn't high-stress!

Yeah, sorry, that's what I meant. You meet with 2 interviewers separately--each for like 20 minutes.
