UIC or SIU interview?

Hello Everyone,

I am still waiting for an interview from UIC or SIU. Does anyone know are these schools still sending interview invites or the waiting game is over for this cycle?

I am still waiting for an interview from UIC or SIU. Does anyone know are these schools still sending interview invites or the waiting game is over for this cycle?

Today, I got a call returned from UIC, and the conversation started with the representative saying, "How about an interview?"


The rep. and I talked on the phone three weeks ago, and she said that due to me applying 'not early', I had hurt myself, and the school was looking at out of state residents. At that time, 3 weeks ago, she also to me to make SURE TO CALL BACK ON FEB. 10th, just to check up.

I called UIC this morning, and left a messaging requesting that they/she call me back, and the returned call commenced with a very sweet prompt (interview).

The rep. also mentioned that the school prides themselves in those who are proactive, as I demonstrated by following her instructions. So call call call call call.

Hello, I have interviewed at both of these schools and have been accepted to SIUE but not UIC yet. I have heard at both schools that they will be interviewing throughout the spring, so even if you applied later in the cycle (but your GPA and DAT are good), you probably have a decent shot. Hi, I too just interviewed with UIC. I can't remember - did anyone catch when they said that the admissions committee was going to meet next and when we could expect to hear back?

i think they meet the last week of every month one night and finalize who they will offer admission to that month.
