I'm in my first year of an OTD program from somone who got accepted to BU, Pitt, USC, WashU, Tufts, and a few other schools. I'll give you some insight to UIC, run away as fast as you can. Last year they kept delaying their acceptances, refused to reply to emails and VMs and finally starting communicating to students in April ... just look at last year's UIC thread on this chat board. So many applicants got zip from from UIC last year, this lack of communication is indicative of their program and it's poor management. Run, run fast.
