Hi All,

I received an email from UIC that only talks about checking the status of my application. I never received an email about their Secondary though?? I took the August MCAT, so should I not receive their secondary until my scores are in? Or should I be able to fill theire secondary out now? I just don't see the point of checking the status of my application if I can't fill out their secondary. Any August MCATers receive UIC's secondary?

Look for an email with no subject, and the sender is listed just as "root."

This email looks like SPAM, and it's no wonder there are tons of people with this dilemma.

I called UIC specifically regarding this and they said that there are 2 emails and you only get the second one once they receive your MCAT score (huh?). I only got the first email. I wonder what will happen if we fill out and send the secondary before we get the second email?

not true...i got the second one but must have deleted the first somewhere and I just took the mcat in august...

there's another thread out there where someone said they screen lightly, but i have yet to find proof that uic screens
