No, it's about 50K for the first year, and 73K for the next 3 years, and this is only resident tuition. Comes to about 270K all together (without interest), so an average of 68K per year.

That's not including living expenses and the cap on that is about 20k I believe so that makes the last 3 years at 93k each...

Yeah haha but OP was asking about the tuition (only) for UIC- they thought it was 20K a year, lol. But agreed.
 
haha don't worry i thought uic was cheap at first too. My friend that goes there was complaining about her tuition then one day I was like "dude arent you only paying in state 30k a year??? be grateful!". When she told me her tuition I literally might as well have put my foot in my mouth.
 
Current UIC D1 here, tuition is definitely a little higher than my entire class anticipated, $68K for in-state first year, but UIC will provide an outstanding education!
