All you guys that are going to UIC can you let us know the pros/cons of the school. Every dental student I talk to hates the school...anyone disagree?

All you guys that are going to UIC can you let us know the pros/cons of the school. Every dental student I talk to hates the school...anyone disagree?

I'm starting there in the fall. People complain about school everywhere. All the people I've talked to from UIC are intelligent and motivated. I'm THRILLED to be there. You have to make the best of the situation you're in. Dental school is hard. And not always convenient. I'm looking forward to the next four years at UIC... even if I complain about it in the next two months...

Pros: Its in Chicago! There's a ton to do!

Cons: Its in Chicago! You don't get to do any of it!

You should be thrilled to be there. You're dad got you in! Otherwise, about UIC, I go there. In general it really stinks, but being in Chicago is great.
