I am in that b.s. list plus another person I know. It's crazyy & what's funny is that they're still interviewing even out of state applicants! you gotta be kidding me!!!!!!!

perhaps there's applicants that are more qualified than you?

they don't need to accept people just because they're in state. they're going to get their money either way (though there is an obvious preference for in state students). saying it's ridiculous that they're interviewing other people just because you're on the waiting list is a little ridiculous in itself, don't you think?

Well with a area as big as Chicago, 64 students a year is really very little and giving that to out of state candidates is totally crazy because at this time I know there are in state students with a total score of 19 or above, with research and dental experience that are in the waiting list. So I don't know what qualified means to you! And remember UIC gets all it's fund from tax payers of IL so couple out of state tuition payers won't boost their budget!
I have nothing agaist out of state students I just believe it's unfair! Everybody should get into their state school first if they have such scores.
