I havent heard anything....just says on AADSAS that my application is complete. I read on their website that they start interviewing in December.

are u sure?? december???? that doesn't make sense.....:scared: :scared: :scared: :scared:

Do out-of-state applicants have a reasonable shot at UIC. That was originally one of my top choices because of the quality of the program and the location. Me and the wife really want to live in Chicago. I Planned to apply until I looked at some of the figures for out-of-state acceptance. Should I add them to my AADSAS? or is it too late and not worth it?

I am currently doing a post bacc at UIC with the goal of joining the 2011 class. I know some people in this years D1 class that said, don't quote me, that 7 people got accpeted out of state. One did say that he is paying roughly 50,000 being out of state instead of the 30,000 in state. I would apply even if the numbers are against you. Good luck.

Okay, so I found contradicting information on two different pages on UIC's website. I'm guessing interviews are between October and May

"Complete on-campus interview, if selected. Interviews will take place between December and May."

"Interviews will begin in early October and will continue through March 2007."

Im not in this application pool, but i just got back from a meeting with the admissions director of UIC, Ann Shorrock (a really nice lady by the way). She said that they are still going through a lot of applications. According to her last year at this time they had 3xx applications and this year at the same time they have 850+ applications 😱 . She also confirmed that 6 spots are reserved for out of staters.

She answered a lot of questions I cant remember off hand, but if anyone has any questions feel free to ask me and I will see if I can remember what she said about it.

SO......WTF, might as well get on AADSAS and throw a lil' more money into this mounting debt and give her a shot. What do I have to lose, 50-100.... I've ran up a bigger bar tab in an hour 😎 ...Good luck to all those applying, i just hope i can get an interview for one of those 6 spots.

UIC starts interviewing in mid october & this crazy process continues till march. If you get an interview before December 1st your chances are pretty high. If afterwards good luck, and yes Ann Shorrock is a very nice looking lady & a great speaker!!!!!

Ann Shorrock just called me, I got an interview on the 16th of october. I am assuming more are going out right now. Good luck everyone!
