I heard they only considered their students. They sent me a rejection letter, who cares? Didn't really want to go their anyway. They didn't even call me for an interview and that really sucks.
All letters will be mailed out by April 1st(I want to say they went out already but dont quote me) 😉 Anyway, I would start checking my mail Saturday. The students that are part of the cohort had chance to get our letters at school yesterday before they were mailed out. I absolutely love UIW! We have the oportunity to be the first grad. class at a University that is 125 years old. Trust me, we will have a top notch college of pharmacy because we have the best dean, and awesome faculty!lol 😀 I choose not to talk stats, because at our school you can have a 4.0, and a 99% on the PCAT, but if your interview was not good, your not community envolved 👎. Yes, my envelope was thick!LOL

Congrats! I take it from your posts that you already live in San Antonio. It'll be nice not having to move. 👍

Yes, your right. It is nice not having to move! I dont have to learn a new campus, and I already know the faculty members. I will miss coming to the campus next year though because our campus is beautiful, but our new building won't be complete until spring, so we will be in a temp location next to the UTSA medical center our first year. Contracts are done, they even have contracts on our clinical rotation sites already! We have an opportunity at our pharmacy school to get a spanish certification. Spanish speaking health proffessionals are needed, especially in south TX. We are going to do this in MEXICO CITY!!!!!!!!!! the second and third summer. So my new goal is to make it to Mexico City! I am so excited, can you tell?LOL
