Dear friends
Its worth having a look at the discussions on UK membership examinations, which is called CASC, sharing ideas on both sides helps each other etc..

I work as a locum speciality doctor [non training job] with 5 years in psychiatry

I am paid £60/hr as a locum doctor, Mon-Fri 9-5 job and have open a limited company with some advantages.[ can claim all expenses related to work etc..]

I am interested how is life in U.S .....

Great ideas can be shared which might benefit all of us mutually

More to come...

Have a look

In UK
core training -3 years
need to pass membership exam called CASC, then can enter
higher training - 3-4 years, then consultant

without CASC - non training posts called staff grade/speciality doctor [ same with different names] this is where doctors get all the scrap from others

After meds school-
Foundation year 1 - previously HO/House Officer
Foundation year 2 - SHO/Senioe House Officer
