I did a quick scan for a previous thread, and the University of Miami website..which seems kind of useless since they just want to sell it to you but couldn't find much of anything useful.

Does anyone know pretty much any useful information about this program to fullfill premed reqs?
Is it a worthwhile program?
Selectivity or average gpas for entering students?...all that kind of stuff.

Side note...same type of stuff with University of North Florida and University of Florida....
Thanks for the time!

any takers any? any? any?.....no....ok

Im not even sure if the program exists outside of theory.

Heh. Yea well they have a relativley obscure website that is kind of integrated in with the standard premed....but I really want to stay in Florida which doesn't leave me with much in the way of formal program options it seems.

There are two formal options if you want to stay in Florida. One is the post-bacc pre-med program at the University of North Florida and the other is at the University of South Florida. Both are very good and will help you as much as the Miami program if you want to go to med school in-state.

South Florida has one? Is it to strengthen prior grades, or just start from beginning? I saw UF has something which just seems to be enrolling for courses...nothing really fancy or structured. Yea..I defintley want to be closer to my family and girlfriend. I am in Pennsylvania now and I am just tired of cold and having to drive 18+ hours several times a year..I am even considering just trying to take courses at FSU (although I don't want to as much...)...and yea defintley want to go instate....I'd be stoked to get into any school in Florida...besides the fact that tuition (excluding Miami which isn't even THAT horrible considering I can get cheap housing via a few connections) is pretty damn low...cheaper than my tuition for undergrad now...I just like the schools better...
