I was just going through Maryland's website and saw that they want a biology AND chemistry professor LOR if your school does not have a committee...I have sent in 2 bio, 1 physics, and a dentist to AADSAS. Anyone know if Maryland will accept these instead of the chemistry one?

I know a lot of people are going to say call the school, which I am going to on Monday, but until then, I was jw if anyone had done the same thing or had any prior experiences with this situation.

There was actually a thread on this and the answer is you WILL need to get a LOR from a chem professor.

Do you have a biochemistry professor instead? That is where my chemistry LOR came from because it is in the chemistry department at my school.

Hmmmm well I am taking Biochem. in the fall so that won't work out....good idea though.

I think I'll just contact an organic professor and hope for the best...
