I haven't heared anything. I called a few weeks ago and someone told me the only thing they could tell mewas if my DAT scores and checks were in.
Getting tired of waiting to hear back..
well, i got this rude letter saying i don't meet all the requirements because I haven't taken biochemistry yet...and that i need to explain in writing how i am intending to fulfill this req...and if they don't hear back from me in 30 days, they'll assume I'm not going to continue with the application process..
WELL...i don't have that requirement done because they slipped that req up in august...and i've applied in may already...
anyway, just a bit irritated with that school...

no...only some schools require biochem...if i knew umd required biochem, i would'nt have applied...there are many schools i wanted to apply to (such as tufts and uT houston), but didn't because of their biochem requirement...so im very upset with what umd did...and it's not very professional in my opinion...
as for med schools, there are plenty of med schools that don't require biochem...most schools just *recommend* it...
yeah, i haven't heard back from them either, and it's starting to worry me... being my state school and all.
anyone have any idea when we should hear from them for real? i did talk to them at the beginning of last week and found out that we would hear by email if we were invited for an interview, so be on the lookout.
