hi everyone!
i had a successful interview at umdnj-som w/ a professor and a 4th yr student last week. they said the committee will meet next on apr 21 and i will know soon there after.

i really like this school and don't want them to forget me when decision-time comes. i want to send a "thank you" note around apr 10. ya think this'll back-fire?

Personally, I think it would be a good thing to do. It would show your appreciation for the time they took to get to know you. I don't know how many people actually take the time to do this but I think it's common courtesy. It wouldn't take long either.

I wrote thank yous to the interviewers, the office of admission and the adcom - that's it. I sent them shortly after the interview...a couple of days after.

box29 is right. Don't wait 'till the 10th to send a thank you note. do it right now or as possible. I hope you get in!!!
