I did an observership at umdnj camden last yr..Its a decent program with good teaching..PD is very nice and easily approachable..residents seem to be a bit overworked..seems to prefer foreign medical grads, offers only j1 visas to them..the area is a bit shady, but most of the residents do not live in camden..they commute from a place 15-20 min away.
I'm considering ranking cooper university hospital camden for residency and visited last year. The hospital is nice and there will be a brand new medical school but bad area.

Hey it seemed to be mostly FMGs, some DOs. I talked to a RWJ-Camden student and she said that they didnt really have american MDs. The PD seems to prefer FMGs from India/Pakistan.
