UMDNJ Interview Dec 1st!!

I just finally got my first interview! But I’m kind of concerned because its for Dec 1st. Did anyone else get it this late? I thought that we were supposed to get decisions by Dec 1st. I’m thinking I missed the first round of applications or something but my file should have been complete by the end of august/early sept. And their website says something like "students wishing to obtain their admissions decision by Dec 1st should have a complete application by Oct 1st." I would have definetly been completed before then if I got the letter today (Oct 3th).

Any thoughts?

congrats on the interview, your stats are good!!who cares if you missed the first round, as long as you have an interview, i know someone who interviewed there in december last year and found out within a couple of weeks that they go in so dont sweat it!!

i had my interview with UMDNJ on 9/29. they said that they were into their 3rd week of interviews and there are about 12 people each time, so you can do some math and figure out when they would have a full class.

i didnt feel like there was anything that needed to be posted.. it was very laid back and the interviewer didn't ask specific questions at all. She just talked to me like we were having a regular conversation. my interview went ~15 minutes, but others ranged. This other girl who did the gateway program had her interview in 5 mins! Jersey also did a very good/detailed presentation. i was impressed.

12 people each interview? or each week? or they kinda select 12 people each week to fill the class already?

i just checked my interview letter and it says they only interview on fridays, so that would be 12 people interviewed each week.. how many of the 12 people they accept, i don't know..

thats interesting they will have interviewed a lot of ppl by december...say about 30-40 more then they have space for in their class...but i guess a lot of out of staters are likely to decline acceptance

HI, I GOT AN INTERVIEW LETTER TOO. I WONDERING THAT EARLIER INTERVIEW IS BETTER THAN LATER INTERVIEW, RIGHT? iF ANYBODY DID INTERVIEW, PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHO YOU TALKED WITH THERE AND WHAT KINDS OF QUESTIONS THEY ASKED. HELP ME..... THANKS
