has anyone had an interview to umdnj yet? my interview is tomorrow and i'm little nervous.. what kind of questions do they ask and were the interviewers nice? do you think they'll ask about any controversial issues???

UMDNJ interviews are very informal...pretty much a conversation and its 1-1. They have two presentations -one by the director of admissions about the school and the second from the financial aid office following the interview. The interviews start at 9am and are open file.

They didnt ask me about any controversial issues. Just be yourself and give realistic practical answers. If they ask you whether you applied to any other schools (they will ask you) tell them the truth. Also, no questions will be very specific, mostly depends on how the conversation goes. So you can completely steer the conversation to highlight things you have done in your life which make you proud. Stand out and shine during your interview!! GL everyone 🙂

Hi Mihwong, I am local so didn't need accommodation. However, if you need a hotel you could try staying in Jersey City. The PATH train runs into Newark and the campus has a shuttle you could take or cab it for 5-6 bucks...the campus is rather close to the Penn Station at Newark. The PATH costs $1.75 each way.

My umdnj interview is tomorrow!!! Sort of not freaking out tho. it'll hit me tomorrow morning or as i try to fall asleep tonight. I am hoping all these job interviews i've been going on have helped hah. Buuut I lost my interview invite letter ...... i can't find it anywhere! Is there something important on it that says to bring anything?
