any thoughts about it? anyone go there? i was just invited to interview. I like that there's so much flexibility with teh PhD, and it does seem to be fully funded.

I was invited too...PhD in mol. bio. at Princeton is sweet! Plus RWJUH is really nice...I was in the Summer Clinical Internship Program there last year.

after the interview-thread-chaos i realize i should have specified RWJ ;-) pennquaker, i'll probably interview after you, which is a bummer. but i want to hear about it.

That's awesome meowkat and pennquaker!!

Did they let you know when your application was complete? I haven't heard a word from them and I sent everything relatively early.

Also, did they invite by e-mail?

Hope you rock those interviews:luck:

i was complete 8/9, and i did get an email. they emailed me this morning about interview.

i can't do it until 12/7 (too much travelling at the 11/9 date) so i hope that doesn't hurt me too much.

RWJ has a really nice cancer center that was recently rennovated. plus the chair of pediatric oncology there, bart kamen, is the brother of the inventor of the segway, dean kamen. i was very impressed by my interview at RWJ. great hotel and great dinner too.

Yeah - I would have seriously considered the RWJ program had I been invited. I don't think I ever heard back from them - unlike Penn, which had the decency to reject me properly after... 1 full year - (I had just come out of anatomy lab!)

I have to admit, it's really the integration of Princeton and Rutgers into the program that make it especially attractive to me as a dual degree. If it were just RWJ alone, I'd probably have applied MD-only. RWJ is great for med school...and as I've said, RWJUH is probably the nicest hospital in the state, and the pooled resources of Rutgers and Pton really make for a powerful program. I wouldn't be surprised if they are accepted into the MSTP fold in the next few years...I know they're definitely gunning for it. Good luck to all of you!

I know of at least one person on SDN who goes there. I'll ask them to PM you or respond in this thread.

sadly i have to reschedule their interview due to penn invite, so i hope they don't hate me.
