Does anyone know anything good, bad, or otherwsise about UMDNJ Newark? I am scheduled to do a SICU rotation there. Will I have an Anesthesiology attending if I do the rotation through Anesthesia?

surgical residents manage patients pretty much and anyone else from outside is pretty much treated like a bastard child

beware beware of this program... trust me..... on that one!!!!

i beg to differ...the program is on the up and up, a consensus among the latest residents...recruitment of great faculty, better hours, pay, and didactics, new patient simulator. strong trauma, liver transplant, and in general, plenty of OR cases to go around.

If the Chair is still the same as last year, beware personality weirdness [she taught during my residency in the early '80's]. OTOH, try to do your own assessmt.
