ok guys i really need ur feedback on this one.. basically it's really weird

like exactly 1 week ago the director of UMDNJ called me on my cell phone and asked me to come for an interview. I didn't get the regular interview through the mail. Basically she did all this stuff like she said im really qualified and the biggest "i can really see you being apart of this school for a long time." I was soo excited 😀

I also got the early BU interview. I know that BU is probably more prestigious but would yall go with the school that shows you the love?

HELLL YEA !!! i was thinking of of going to UMDNJ since my dad is a resident over there! but listen, i don't think its a bad school at all, just make sure you intake all the education you can get, no matter what school you go to. In the end, it's all about your choices.

What were your stats if you don't mind me asking, and did you get a BS degree or not? thanx

first you have to get in, but the there is not even a question:
BU = 80,000+ per year
NJDS = about 37,000 per year

You'd be crazy to take BU (and it is not so prestigious. Most ppl. think of it as the classic private school which usually gets lower ended applicants due to their cost. And there facilities are not impressive - they are very old)

yeah my stats are 3.7 19AA, i have two cancer publications

nice ...keep up the good work...Did you go to school in NJ by any chance?

no i didn't i went to ut.. yeah im hoping it works out i really like umdnj a lot

if you dont mind me asking, what did you like about UMDNJ-NJDS. What are the pros and cons?

I'm a current student at UMDNJ and it's ~35k in tuition and I take out 45k a year in loans. All can be covered via only federal loans, so it's at relatively cheap interest rate. Also, all students at UMDNJ get in-state status as long as they change their driver's license and registration to NJ.

When I interviewed there a couple weeks ago they said that the residency requirements are currently under review and might change for us, so that might not be completely accurate. They said it might stay the same, though.
