You should wait. Everyone gets an invite to fill out the secondary so it will come, but your best bet is to follow directions to the letter. In the mean time you can write and re-write your essay so it is ready to submit the day after you are invited to apply. Here is the link to the secondary

The essay is:
"Please discuss your preparation for medical school, both academic and non-academic. Describe both strengths and weaknesses associated with your preparation for medical school. Please use the back of this page or attach a separate sheet of paper if additional space is needed."
Most people who I have seen post here write their essays about a page to a page and a half in length, but you should write it whatever length answers the question best for you.
