how were you notified when your app was complete at umdnj? I have not heard from them and I just found out from PCOM that they never received my precommittee letter...Im hoping that the same thing did not happen with umdnj....🙁

Never got a completion letter, but just received an interview invite yesterday. I called about 3 weeks ago to make sure they weren't missing anything and htey said that my file was complete. Make sure to follow up with them.

Yeah, it would be nice if we could just exchange interview offers like that. I am very interested in interviewing in New Jersey and seeing what they have to offer. I hope I receive an interview offer from them.

Good luck everyone, although I am sure you don't need it if you have an interview here. They only interview under 300 people so if you have an interview you are 80% there. It is also a long slow process so if you aren't in the very first interview group don't worry there are many months of interviewing to go.

Try to relax in knowing that UMDNJ only interviews people they have a sincere interest in (i.e. they take about 80% of those they interview) and in the fact that you are one of the very first interview groups which means you "rose above" many people probably to be selected early. The interview itself is laid back so just try and relax. They already know that you can handle medical school here since they have seen that evidence in your applications now they just want to see that you can carry a conversation and have a personality.
