Is anyone still waiting on hearing from UMDNJ. I sent my application out in June, was expecting a pre december 1st interview but haven't heard anything from them. I was looking on pre dents and some people with similar stats as me who applied later have already been accepted.

Haha thats the funny thing.. they say they can't tell you over email or phone because of confidentiality reasons.. i guess i should go over there with some ID just to find out my status.

did you receive the email confirmation from them that your application was complete?

i'm still waiting to hear from them regarding an interview as well. i spoke to dr. linfante and he said that i would likely be hearing in early january about their decision. maybe that's true for all remaining candidates, one way or the other.

i'm still waiting to hear ANYthing from them regarding interviews as well. When I've tried calling up to inqure about it in the past, even to check if its compelte, I've just been repeated what their policy is and how they can't tell you anything over the phone and if something is missing they'll tell you. I recieved the app compelte email awhile ago and nothing since and it's been awhile. I hope there's some good news coming soon!

hey sweetcatastrophe..

i read that same forum you posted about the warning on NJ, and was upset because I won't be taking Physics I and II until my senior year (im applying this spring for fall 2009), so I immediately emailed the administrator over there and he said they really prefer that by the time they recieve your application, they really prefer to have all your pre reqs done so they can get a better look at your situation. Thank god I emailed him and found this out before I applied! Therefore, Ill be taking Physics I and II this summer....

I recieved their email confirmation back in september. I sent out the application fee right after, I guess we'll just have to wait it out.

yea i am in the same situation as well i received their email in july that my file is complete except DAT and after that nothing at all!! i got the same response when i called them in october so after that i never bothered calling them🙄

yes i have completed all their pre-reqs too so I don't think that is the case either which is even more annoying. Anyone remember when they interview up til? or how far ahead they're booked until?

You already got accepted to UB, why do you care about UMDNJ? And UB is your state school also!!!😕

yea i know.. but I wanted to stay as close as home as possible.. it has to do with a family situation.. UB is definitely a great school tho. as of right now I'm most likely gonna end up there

No word from UMDNJ. I have heard nice things about UMDNJ and wanted the opportunity to visit and tour the school.

Everything submitted and processed late July-early August.

I just got a reply, via e-mail, regarding my application status. They said it is still under review. That's been my status since early December. Anybody know what's going on over there?

i tried calling yesterday to at least ask when they interview until and how full they are so far but no luck, no one picked up. anyone who has been on a recent interview know the answer? how much hope is left for jersey?

UMDNJ ....i wouldnt even bother trying to contact them. Last time i talked to them they told me they dont give any info over the phone, just have to wait and hear from them. Pathetic. haven't heard single word from them, dont expect to anyways.
