Hi friends,
In their website, they need 75 score in each subject, but i have less in one subject, I made payment in caapid but now checked it so pls let me know if it will be ok to apply there if I will get my part2 score as well. will it matter? Or I should not waste 175 more, pls suggest me.

its not like this , evenif you dont have 75 in each section you should apply, I know one friend of mine studying there , who was not having 75 in all sections

HI, ARE YOU SURE COZ I HAVE NOT SEEN IT ANYWHERE ON THEIR WEBSITE THAT YOU HAVE TO HAVE >75 IN EACH SECTION.
i HAVE READ THAT FOR hERMAN oSTROW THOUGH, so not applying because i asked the university that are you going to consider an applicant with <75 in a section and they were like the criteia is written on our website and we are going to stick to that. I am not telling you not to apply but if you consider asking them and get a positive reply, plz tell me.


anybody else who had the same experience or got an interview or application accepted in such a case, plz help!😕
 
thank u uabsfm, but wen I called in umich university, lady told me that they don't consider application if in any section u got less than 75, even in new pattern.

under caapid directory its given 75 in nbd pt 1...they dint mention abt every section...the score report that ada sends has only composite score nt individual ...
bt after seeing the link posted by benny45 iam also confused...
 
Anybody pls call in their office for better clarity. I have already asked them( at no. 734-763-1068) and lady over there told me that even though its new pattern, application will be reviewed if every section has 75 score.
 
Asking the same question multiple times doesn't change the answer.

have you checked the FAQ , 'coz most often admissions committee is overloaded so they would prefer to stick to whatever is mentioned on website as better approach of dealing with our pestering questions .

quoting"What is the lowest NBDE score you will accept? What is the Average?"

The lowest is 75 and the average last year was 87.

As far as I understand there is no more partial scoring exam pattern .
 
Thanx dentgemini and sorry for the confusion friends, yeah I didn't make mistake of submitting caapid fees.

if i am not wrong..you must be having 74 right answers...thats not your score on the subject...74 right answers you score should be way above 80 in that subject

yeah so that is not your percentile in that subject..thats just the number of correct answers...your percentile would be above 75...thats what i can understand..according to old calculation a 72 should be around high 80's
 
Hey i see they have a written exam at the time of interview along with bench exam. Does anybody have any idea how will the written exam be?? why do they want to take more exams? dont they trust their own system?

any idea... pls advise...

yeah i too hv the same question wt is dt test goin to b like? will it be focussed on clinical dentistry questions or wt?
