The mail today has not come yet.....urghh..i hate this waiting business~! 😳

I live in St. Louis and still did not hear from UMKC today either. I dunno what that means!!!

Did anyone else hear from UMKC that is from St. Louis???? When did you get your letter?

I just sent umkc and email and mary swick replied and said that the last wave of letters was sent out yesterday. I am starting to think that the acceptance letters were sent out first. If anyone emails them and finds out, please post. I havent heard of anyone receiving a rejection letter yet.

Yeah, I called them today and the lady I spoke to said the same thing. That the last of the letters were sent out yesterday.

By the end of the week...we shall all find out! 😳

nothing here either. Letters mailed from kc to stl should take a max of 2 days. Is someone lying to us?

Hey guys, I have been reading everyones threads for UMKC because my girlfriend applied this year to UMKC Pharmacy school. I was trying to find out when the letters were going out and who got accepted because my girlfriend didn't recieve a letter during to third week of April like many people did. What I found out was, and this is just from reading and not directly from UMKC, that the letters sent out on the 19th were the acceptance letters and the letters sent out two days ago are the alternate placement letters. My girlfriend got hers today in the mail and it was indeed an alternate letter. We live in the KC area. Also from what I know is that usually people placed in the top 15 alternates get in because a lot of students apply at both KU and UMKC choose KU because it is a four year school. I hope this helps and good luck.

Wow, 32 people rejected acceptance to UMKC last year?

I know that I am going to be rejected... (its ok) because I was placed on the "interview wait list" and they told me they would call or email as soon as an interview spot opened. Anyway they never did and I have never heard anything since. So long story short... no rejection letters yet. Good luck! 🙂

No, everyone that I know either got in or got their alternate letter in the mail today. My friend applied for the class of 2008 and he was number 47 on the alternate list and still got in. So even if you are on the alternate list, there is still a good chance. My girlfriend is 12th, I am certain she will get in. Goodluck again and if you have any other question feel free to ask. I am finishing my first year there so I might be able to provide some assistance.

My letter came today. It's not good. I'm alternate #60. Man. I hope a LOT of those people who got accepted don't want to go to UMKC. What really sucks is that my mom read the letter to me over the phone, and she has a heavy Korean accent, and her 60 sounded like a 16. I got all happy @ first.
