I am a Senior in high school in the Kansas City area but because of my low ACT scores, i don't think i will be able to make the provisional admission program. What do i do to sign up for pre-pharm? I am completely confused about how this all works, and my councilor didn't know anything about the provisional admission program, so she was no help. Any information will help.

High school seniors whose high school cumulative GPA is 3.25 and above at the end of their Junior year and whose ACT composite score is a minimum 23 (1060 SAT score) are eligible to apply for the Freshman Provisional Admission Program.

THEREFORE SINCE YOU DONT QUALIFY:
~Pre-Pharmacy Requirements
Students who do not quite qualify for the Provisional Program are still very much welcomed to attend UMKC as a Pre-Pharmacy student. Pre-Pharmacy students will take almost all the same prerequisite courses as well as the PCAT, and apply for the Pharm.D. program when they are ready, usually after one or two years.

Eligibility requirements for Pre-Pharmacy fall back to UMKC Admission requirements for Freshman, and can be found here: http://umkc.edu/admissions/freshmen_application.html. Then Click on Regular Admission from High School.

Deadlines:
Fall Semester: April 1st
Winter Semester: Nov. 1st
Summer Semester: May 1st

Can I apply after the priority deadline date?​

Yes! Students whose applications are filed after the priority deadline and those whose admission files are not complete by the deadline may still be considered for admission

Thank You!! Can i apply for both? i'm a pt away from 23, and i have time to get it higher. Since i'm still in high school, when should i apply?

Anytime before November 30 2008 would be a great time to apply. Apply for some scholarships as well.

Can i apply to both? just in case i don't get in, because i have a couple of chances to get up my ACT score and i'm not far off
