UMSL interview

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
The UMSL interview is really laid back. You show up at about 10am and have a quick meeting with the student advisor to make sure everything in your file is correct and to answer any questions. They walk you through an overview/presentation of the program and school. She also gives you answers to some of the interview questions. A couple students will take you on a tour and treat you to lunch. Then they call you in one by one for your interview. I had two faculty interview me for ~20-25 minutes. Check out the interview link under "databases" for a list of questions they ask. After your interview, you head home and wait by the computer for them to email you. They sent me an email at midnight saying I was accepted. It was that easy. Good luck!

yay i got an interview at umsl for feb. 25th. im super excited. any one have any advice?

Do you mind sharing your stats? I'm STILL waiting to hear anything back from them. I think my app. was complete the second week in January. Getting really nervous. I know they have so few seats compared to others.

I was accepted to UMSL in November with a 3.73 GPA and a 310 OAT. I had above 320 on every section except quatitative reasoning which brought the score down. I actually re-took the OAT and did better and have since been accepted to SCO so will be letting St. Louis know this week that I will not be attending there. Good luck getting my spot! Everyone is friendly especially the doctors who interviewed me! GOOD LUCK
