UMSL interview

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I am interested in hearing from others too. My interview is in March when is yours?

1. Click on Interview Feedback at the very top of this website and follow the links to Optometry and then to UMSL.

2. Be sure to go through every powerpoint Dr. Brown has on the UMSL website. You will be asked facts from these slides.

3. At UMSL they really want to help you succeed. Very relaxed interview......no tricky questions.

I have not had an interview there, but went through the pre-optometry workshop there last year and met Dr. Brown and others from UMSL-College of Optometry and all of them were so incredibly nice and informative on the profession and the schooling aspect, but very blunt in terms of what they expected and as the previous post said, the powerpoints on the website are there for a reason and in your best interest to know them very well. I have not received an interview from them and sadly I'm not sure if I will, especially since they are a phenomenal school, but best of luck to you and congratulations on your interview, remember just stay relaxed and be yourself, none of the people there are scary, they're all very approachable and down to earth and fun loving people who care about optometry, so if you are in that category you'll be fine..hopefully this was helpful even though I haven't actually went through an interview there.
