I attended a unaccredited JC 11 yrs ago to major in Medical Assisting,I wasn't aware at the time or know about the imp. of being accredited or non-acc. anywho I ended up w/ a 2.37 cgpa , went back into the work force.....
12 yrs later due to the circumstance/s of the economy, no jobs and at a economic disadvantage I am now attending UNT (Univ. of north Texas) majoring in Biology (BA) and after a rough start I am expecting to come out w/ a cgpa of around 3.5 (non-science) and 3.5 at least in Science courses.
How big of a issue will the non-accredited JC play far as applying to PA programs on CASPA ?I know I'll have to list those courses but will I be able to explain myself far as not knowing at the time that they wouldn't ever transfer to anything?
