This thread isn't really about the USMLE/COMLEX but....Are there any other newly minted 2nd years out there that can't believe that we are about to own these board forums??

It's kind of scary since I have a vague idea about what books I need, but no idea where or when to get started looking at Qbank & some of other resources. Wow...

Join the club. I can't imagine that WE are going to take these tests in a few months. Right now I don't know anything and have no clue how to study for them. LOL

ya'll are screwed. i'm glad to have this test under my belt.

j/p

study hard this year and don't compartmentalize boards studying and school studying too much...studying for your exams IS studying for boards...learn it well the first time.

And yeah, the advice found on this forum really works. =]

I agree, second year was key (although it was a lot of work, which wasn't all that fun), and the advice around here is GREAT.

Study hard, learn the material, and you will do well on the USMLE.
And remember, it's not only for boards, you actually will use it on the wards (I do).

Just my opinion, though.
